On startup, with "emacs -Q", I receive the warning:
Warning (initialization): Building Emacs overflowed pure space.  (See the node

I'm getting this error with a local build of revision no. 88988 from
http://arch.savannah.gnu.org/archives/emacs/bzr/trunk/

It's no wonder that adding code to files.el lifts the puresize limit.
I increased PURESIZE in src/puresize.h to 1270000.
