bug#5905: [Aquamacs-bugs] aquamacs: mode specific menus fail to appear promptly in menu bar

Hi

When loading a new file or switching to a new frame, the menu bar is  
not updated to show the mode-specific menus (if any). Clicking in the  
menu bar is often sufficient to get these to appear, but not always.

Furthermore, sometimes when the menu bar has focus the active frame  
blanks itself out (all text disappears and it loses any transparency  
it may have). Things return to normal when the frame regains focus.

I believe this bug to be specific to aquamacs. I cannot reproduce it  
in vanilla carbon emacs.
