bug#6182: crash while compiling gnus-sum.el on a debug build

I get a crash byte-compiling gnus-sum.el:

   emacs -batch -Q -f batch-byte-compile gnus-sum.el

but:

 - it only happens on a debug build (built with MinGW gcc 4.5.0)
 - it does *not* happen when bootstrapping
