bug#6475: 24.0.50; prompt of `fringe-query-style'

From: Drew Adams
Subject: bug#6475: 24.0.50; prompt of `fringe-query-style'
Date: Sun, 20 Jun 2010 07:52:10 -0700

The prompt should not say "(type ? for list)". That is the default
behavior of completion in Emacs, so it should not be called out
specially here.

And in alternative completion libraries `?' might well not have the
effect specified. For example, in Icicles, `?' is self-inserting during
completion.

Any keys (e.g. `?', `TAB') that might display the *Completions* list are
specific to completion, not to this fringe-mode selection command.

In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
 of 2010-06-14 on 3249CTO
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (4.4) --no-opt --cflags -Ic:/xpm/include'
