bug#7260: 24.0.50; DEL screwed up

From: Richard Stallman
Subject: bug#7260: 24.0.50; DEL screwed up
Date: Thu, 21 Oct 2010 08:53:50 -0400

Today I typed DEL after yanking some text and typing C-x C-x to go to
the beginning of it. DEL surprised me by deleting the region.
This change causes a lot of trouble.

In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (mips64el-unknown-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.12)
 of 2010-10-10 on theobromine2
