bug#7287: 24.0.50; epa

From: Richard Stallman
Subject: bug#7287: 24.0.50; epa
Date: Wed, 27 Oct 2010 02:32:27 -0400

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug. If you can, give
a recipe starting from `emacs -Q':

With Epa Mail mode, after C-c C-e d, the buffer with the
decrypted message seems to be in Info mode. That is not helpful.
mailcrypt-decrypt puts the decrypted buffer in Rmail mode
(at least when coming from Rmail mode), and that's what
Epa Mail mode should do.

Ideally it should use whatever mode the user was using
for the buffer that has the message, and it should copy
the parts of the buffer that didn't need decryption.

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
For information about debugging Emacs, please read the file
/home/rms/emacs-bzr/trunk/etc/DEBUG.
