Unfortunately 21.4 is very old and is not supported any more.
I know that is what RHEL 5 ships, but it is easy to install newer
Emacs versions yourself. The latest is 23.2.
FWIW when I tried on i386 and x86_64 RHEL 5.5, 21.4 opened your
attached message fine, so maybe it was the recipient list.
