bug#8327: 24.0.50; Info mode manual: headline of section 1.4 is confusing

The info mode manual (info.texi), section 1.4, contains the following
line:

@section The Space, DEL, B and ^L commands

What does `^L' stand for? Is it the same as C-l?

Shouldn't it be 

@section The Space, DEL, b and C-l commands

to match the actual commands referred to in the text?
