Yes, exactly the same issue,
but I'm able to reproduce it with 23.1.1 and 23.3.1

which was supposedly fixed (?) in 23.1.

Emacs 23.3.1, self-compiled, and also reproduced on older versions (from
Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 packages).
