Then we will have to disagree.

But I beg you to please leave the traditional operation of `l' alone.
If we want to cater to users who are confused by that, let's have a
separate command.  We can bind it to something users nowadays expect,
like M-<left>, and also to the "go back in history" button on the tool
bar.  Just let's not change what `l' does, as long as the stand-alone
reader works like that.
