Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug, and
the precise symptoms of the bug.  If you can, give a recipe
starting from `emacs -Q':

1. On Mac OS X Lion go into system preferences.
2. Click on speach
3. Click on text to speech
4. Check Speak selected text when key is pressed
5. click on change key button and select the button you want to use. I
use <Alt-'>
6. Got to emacs and Highlight some text in a buffer
7. press the speech key combo for me <Alt-'>
8. The name of the buffer is spoken not the highlighted text.

This worked properly in Snow Leapard.


If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
