Severity: important

On the Emacs trunk, the changes in revision 109788
(Special MEM_TYPE_SPARE to denote reserved memory)
cause Emacs to dump core on x86 Fedora 15.

The previous trunk revision 109787 works fine.

The problem goes away if I disable optimization,
by configuring with CFLAGS=-g3.

This depends on values on a C stack, which aren't predictable
in general.

But an issue looks almost obvious, should be fixed in 109791.
