bug#14194: 24.3; Hexl-mode fontification

It seems that hexl-mode does not fontify the buffer when it loads.
As a result custom settings to the two hexl-mode faces are not loaded.
This can be fixed by adding this to my config

(add-hook 'hexl-mode-hook 'font-lock-fontify-buffer)

but hexl-mode should be doing this automatically.
