I am inquiring about gnu emacs bug #8680. I apologize if I am not using the correct channels.

According to the bug report at http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=8680 you closed this bug in November 2012 by fixing it by committing the patch to trunk. (Actually there are two patches.)

My problem is that I cannot see the effect of this fix in the version of emacs that I am using, namely 24.3.1 from http://emacsformacosx.com/, built in March of 2013. Also when I browse the source at http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git/tree/src/nsterm.m?h=emacs-24 I cannot see either patch.

Perhaps I am using a wrong version of emacs. If not, could you verify that the patches made it into emacs 24.
