Today I could make a test on PPC Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4.11) and the NS variant
behaved very fine. I hope to test tomorrow on Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5.8).
Tests can be done with GNU Emacs 24.3 and 24.3.50, though on Tiger the latter's
variants cannot be built since some months ("too many regions"). I'm not sure
whether I have an up-to-date version on Leopard.
