It would appear that this particular bug yielded to the pure size increase. What a singularly useless error behavior for a problem that is expected to reoccur with some regularity! So I think this bug can be closed. It would not seem to be related to the more obscure GC problems that were suggested as its cause at first. Bit of a pity since it was quite reproducible. -- David Kastrup
