Is that all fonts, or if not, how do I get a total count (this is openSUSE 13.1)?
Good question. IIUC, xlsfonts shows only server-side fonts; you also have to run fc-list to see fonts managed by fontconfig and so available for client-side libXft-based rendering. Dmitry
