I've got only one argument: the longer we want, the more we continue 
confusing new user coming to the editor (because our "use tabs in 
indentation" setting does not even correspond to what majority of people 
coming from newer editors expect of "use tabs" behavior), and bigger yet 
the "host of users who will get annoyed" will become when we finally 
make that change.
