The problem here is more likely to be CC Mode than the uncommenting code.
Can you reproduce this bug, or was it a one-off? Hopefully, the former!
Is there any chance you could post a section of your C file where the bug
happens (with instructions for reproducing it)? Any part of the file
where this fails to work is fine, but the smaller you can get it, the
easier it will be for this lazy maintainer. ;-)
