As to often this looks like my faut. It is using uncomment-region from a local mode that I hasd ot used for years ad in debugging some C code needed int in that language. So reproducable but all my fault. Please accept my apology for nor reading te backtrace more carefully which shows teerrant file

Hello, John.

In article <mailman.1389.1465760527.1216.bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org> you wrote:

I used to use C-U C-C C-C to uncomment a region of C but now is says
wrong number of arguments. Have I missed a change?

The problem here is more likely to be CC Mode than the uncommenting code.
Can you reproduce this bug, or was it a one-off? Hopefully, the former!

Is there any chance you could post a section of your C file where the bug
happens (with instructions for reproducing it)? Any part of the file
where this fails to work is fine, but the smaller you can get it, the
easier it will be for this lazy maintainer. ;-)

Thanks in advance!
