That we’re doing it from within Emacs, so it’s an Emacs feature, and
therefore needs to be available on a Free platform first.

(For the record, I tested this patch with GNUStep on GNU/Linux, which
I imagine counts as Free, and it didn’t remove the titlebar, even with
some fiddling. That may have been my WM refusing to play along,
though.)

I don’t feel I understand the politics enough to make any useful
contribution.
