bug#24598: 25.1; fixed-pitch-serif face is not in the list of known faces

To reproduce:

 emacs -Q
 M-x list-faces-display RET

The fixed-pitch-serif face is not shown

Likewise if you try "M-x customize-face RET": that face isn't in the
completions shown by TAB.

All of that happens because face-list returns a list where this face
is absent, but why?
