bug#28498: 25.2; Crash calling `find-font' on text-only terminals on macOS

Run:
  .../path/to/Emacs -nw -Q -eval '(find-font (font-spec :name "Menlo-16"))'

On my system this crashes more often than not: "Fatal error 11: Segmentation 
faultAbort trap: 6"

Unfortunately it does not crash 100% of the time.  If you don't experience a 
crash immediately, please try half a dozen or so times, or wait a few seconds 
before re-attempting.
