I don't see this problem.  Looking at the screenshot, it seems to suggest that 
one of
the CSS files isn't being loaded.

It must be a problem only apperent with recent browsers.

PS.  I would welcome any offers to take over maintentance of the web page.

     I see the same problem.
     
     This is really odd, though, since nothing significant has changed
     on this page in a long time.  Even the CSS hasn't changed.
     
     John, you designed the revised version of this page.  Can you
     take a look and see if you see the same problems and, if so, what
     might fix it?
