gst 1.96: hilit19 optional in st-mode.el [patch]

I noticed hilit19 is loaded unconditionally by st-mode.el in the gst
1.96 alpha.  Since that only works under X, perhaps something like
below could be done, for the benefit of those who use just a tty.
(Indentation left unchanged to keep the diff to the pertinent part,
reindent as necessary.)

Also, smalltalk-emacs19-p seems to be unset, maybe it could get
established automatically somehow (or I suppose its choice between
comint and shell done some other way).
