In gdbm-1.8.0, I came across a couple of minor problems in "Makefile.in".
To whom should I report these?
More fundamentally, a colleague thought that gdbm was now frozen and that
new projects should use alternative products. Is this true or false? If
true, what is are recommended replacements? Where should I look for
further details? (There didn't seem to be any mention at www.gnu.org )
