Is it right for the GNU utils to see thru 16 bit chars as 8 bits here in the zh_TW.Big5 locale? $ echo ㄈ|mmencode -q =A3w $ echo ㄈ|grep w ㄈ or can the freshest versions not erroneously print that line? -- http://www.geocities.com/jidanni/ Tel+886-4-25854780
