ld error

From: Tim Keating
Subject: ld error
Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2002 01:00:08 -0700 (MST)

I cc'd the mplayer list more as an item of interest to them. The error
message seems to indicate that this is a "ld" problem of some sort on my
machine.
I have seen this error the few time I've tried to compile the cvs versions
of mplayer, in the last couple of days. I've compiled a number of
different programs (quakeforge, quake2 from quakeforge, blackbox,
pine-4.44) in the last few days. This is the only place I've had
the ld error.

This particular occurence of the error occured while compiling cvs version
(#define VERSION "CVS-020115-00:01-2.95.4 ") of mplayer.

I'm out on the bleeding edge here all right, but "ld" did say "please"
