Time 1.7 problem

 I run command “ time –f  “%M %K”  vi 11.txt “

The output  is : 0 0

Then I run a big program that use large Memory %I/O(through the “top” command)

But the output is always 0 0

The CPU usage is not  0

Why the putput is  always 0 ?

 

My OS:        Redhat 7.2

Time version:  1.7
