How do old configure scripts handle the new argument style? If I'm
writing a tool that invokes configure, not knowing which version of
autoconf was used to generate this configure script, what's the best
way to pass CFLAGS, etc.? Will this work with all versions:
CFLAGS=-g ./configure CFLAGS=g
Or will something else?
