bug in make uninstall

while attempting to do a make uninstall for gawk, it ran the command:

rm -fr /usr/bin/* /usr/share/gawk/*

I just find this out as trying to install it then realized I didn't need it, so 
I went and did a make uninstall, and I became VERY upset when I realized I 
didn't have any commands left from /usr/bin.

SO please fix this.
