$ nohup -xx
nohup: appending output to `nohup.out'
excuse me, how did you know I had an nohup.out? If you aren't going
to check then say "creating or appending output to `nohup.out'"
$ cat nohup.out
/usr/bin/nice: -xx: No such file or directory
well, shouldn't nohup be more picky in catching args?
> The only options are `--help' and `--version'. *Note Common
well, ok, but...
$ nohup --vv
nohup: appending output to `nohup.out'
picky picky, where's user friendliness? I mean it's like guessing
passwds to get a little help around here. -? -h etc all bombs. How
about making case -*) call $usage, and -- allow the rest of the args.
$ nohup --version
nohup (GNU sh-utils) 2.0.11
