I fixed the warnings on mainline binutils, but forgot to commit to
the branch.  BTW, there's an even worse problem (my fault again)
on 2.13.1.  When running the ld testsuite with a native powerpc
target, you'll get an error due to a missing run_ld_link_tests
function.  :-(
