I 'm facing a problem doing 'make' to a program. The message I'm getting is:
/usr/bin/ld cannot find -lz
collect2: ld returned i exit status
So , itried the command ld -lz and then i tried ld with -zl
the second one is working fine, but the first no.
with first one I'm getting the same message :
/usr/bin/ld cannot find -lz
I dont think there should be any difference with using -lz or -zl.
I'm not the programmer of the program I was compiling, so i dont htink I'm
gonna be able to compile it without modifications.
the program I'm trying to install is hotwayd

I'm using redhat 7.3
