GNU tar bug.

Hi,
    I have discovered a bug in the recreation of hard links in tar 
version 1.13.25
I have written a wrapper program in perl to handle large archives - it 
is able to split large paths into seperate lists to give to tar via the 
-T option.
I noticed that in untarring an archive of my root partition on a Debian 
Linux 3.0 system, some of the zoneinfo files were missing.
In the file attached, you will find my /usr/share/zoneinfo path.
By issuing this command:

tar tzvvf zoneinfo.tar.gz | grep Longyearbyen

You will see that this is a hard link to zoneinfo/right/Atlantic/Jan_Mayen
when this archive is unpacked, threre is no sign of this link:

du -a zoneinfo | grep Longyearbyen

reveals no link.

I hope that this bug can be fixed relatively quickly and easily, as I 
find tar an extremely useful tool.
