I am really astonished by this:
gawk-3.1.4 (get from gnu today) compiled on a Mandrake 10.1 just now
echo "c" | ./gawk '/[A-Z]/ {print "ok"}'
ok
same thing with gawk-3.1.3
but not with gawk-3.0.2 which will be now the version I will use....
