This indicates that your installation of autoconf does not find the macros
installed by automake.


So, when my other package works with my installed automake 1.10,
and this one doesn't, that means there is something different about
how the other package finds AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE and how this
one does not, right? So I have to figure out how the macros are found,
and perhaps what the auto4mate directory means, maybe?
