Gettext is not the same intltool. They are close, and intltool uses gettext,
but they are not the same.
The intltool "homepage" [1] says that they prefer discussions about intltool
to take place in the GNOME bug tracker. (Whereas the intltool README refers
to a nonexistent mailing list.)
