[bug-gnuastro] Error: interpolate_close_neighbors_on_thread

Subject: [bug-gnuastro] Error: interpolate_close_neighbors_on_thread

Hi, my name is Alejandro Serrano Borlaff, and I am doing my PhD at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias under the supervision of Prof. John Beckman.

First of all, thank you for your work with gnuastro. I find it a wonderful set of tools for our job. Nevertheless I am having some trouble with astnoisechisel. Some of my images raise an error when trying to analyse them with astnoischisel. I attach one fits which is a working example:

> astnoisechisel --hdu 0 ib5x2byrq_00i_single_ext.fits

NoiseChisel started on Thu Oct 19 18:26:47 2017
  - Using 8 CPU threads.
  - Input: ib5x2byrq_00i_single_ext.fits (hdu: 0)
  - Kernel: FWHM=2 pixel Gaussian.
  - Convolved with kernel.                             0.434701 seconds
  - Starting to find initial detections.
astnoisechisel: interpolate_close_neighbors_on_thread: only 4 neighbors found while you had asked to use 9 neighbors for close neighbor interpolation

There is any way I can avoid this error? Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Alejandro

PS: The version I am using is:

astnoisechisel -V
