I usually use gcc mingw for comilation og gnubg.exe and
gnubg-no-gu.exe. I'm not sure, but I think DJGPP can create "dos"
protected executables. Check: http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/

If you want to compile gnubg at your system you should get mingw:
