I've commited the new layout since everybody seemed to think it was an
improvement. For GTK2 I use the two stock icons above (untested!) and
for GTK<2 I use some included XPMs (use "cvs update -d" to get the new
XPM directory).

Good idea. However, all the buttons/icons are already taking up quite
some horisontal space (specially for small screen solutions), so I'll
not add them until we have icons for all buttons (as the icons are
smaller than the buttons).
