[Bug-gnubg] Player Record and .sgg

First of all, great job for the Player records. I was able to use it only once, but it looked excellent. After I used it though, it would not allow me to add any more records as it claims there is a bad file descriptor in .gnubgpr. I’d like to suggest however, that the different groups of information be accessed via a button. Right now, it shows the results for the last 20 games, 100 games, and 500 games, and that’s cool, but it shows all these columns at once and even maximizing the window I cannot see everything. Perhaps a button to show the last 100, 500 etc. would resolve this. I’d just like to add that I’d like it to be able to show me the results by groups of games so that I can see my progress better. After 6 months, I wouldn’t consider my first 100 games to represent my playing level, so I would like to see every 100 games for example. Still, great to see this strongly desired feature there. One other thing: presumably a player will want to add their results, but may not want (or care) the opponent’s results. Allow users to choose, and allow users to delete or edit (name for example) a record if they want.

A couple of other things though: when importing .sgg matches, have it invert the players. The latest GG build always saves the games with my opponent’s name first, and my name last. This is logical as I will be searching through them via my opponent’s name. However, GNU always puts my name on top, when I would like to see it at the bottom. Another thing: it never remembers the directory I imported the .sgg matches from. It remembers it in a session, but as soon as I close and open GNU again, it goes back to searching .sgg matches in the GNUBG directoty. Saving the settings doesn’t resolve this.
