The design does not determine the direction of the checkers, so changing designs should never affect this. Only the Settings à Options controls this AFAIK.

Speaking of the designs, I meant to ask this when I first sa this but forgot as I don’t switch around much preferring the AS2 or the Zox-vegas. Could the names of the 3 with my name be changed to:

AS1 à Green/Black  BTW I took the idea from the main Jellyfish page http://effect.webbie.net/

AS2 à Wood 1        I expect there will be other wood designs in the future.

AS3 à Red/Blue

Finally, although Gregg Cattanach’s Gamesgrid design was the source of insptration for the GNU Zox-Vegas design, he didn’t actually contrive it. It took a bit of work on my part to get the colors looking vaguely similar as the GG program uses textures. Could the credits read Albert Silver/Gregg Cattanach?

I chose the Albert Silver 2 design which has clockwise movement.
Whenever I start GNUBG it opens as anticlockwise.
Settings-Options shows clockwise checked.
I have to uncheck and recheck this settings to get the board to show clockwise.
