Sounds quite good. :)
This requires BSD sockets (sys/socket.h) for remote processing, and POSIX
threads (pthread.h) for multi- and remote processing.
I think I've heard of a pthread implementation for Windows. A short search
brought this:
http://sources.redhat.com/pthreads-win32/
Could this work?
However, I'm not used to using CVS, except for retreiving files :-)
Until a few weeks ago I neither knew.
Can you explain me what a "branch" is?
It's a spin-off from the main (or any other) development line. You take a
fixed state of the sources and develop based on this version. The main line
continues undisturbed.
You should have a look into http://www.cvshome.org/docs/manual/ .
How am I supposed to integrate my work?
Can anyone help me?
Joern will certainly tell you something.
