Totally agree. Why not add a python accessor to player records?
Then it will be easy to export them in any form needed?

Any chance this could be added to the Player Records?

No, there is currently no active development on the player's records.

The idea being to
see the progress (or lack of) over time. I know it does this per game,
but I'd also like to see it break them down according to match games and
money games (players excel at one or the other too), and according to
full matches (instead of just individual games). Actually there are a
number of other breakdowns I'd like to see (various types of scores:
DMP, -2 -4, etc.), but I suppose that's a whole different story.

I don't think we want all that features in gnubg.

I've previously suggested that the player's records could be stored in
a relational database. With this approach the (power) user can construct
his own queries using plain SQL, access, or whatever. We could include
some sample reports with gnubg, but leave it to the user to make his own
queries regarding how many DMP he won on TMG versus GG, how many
times he played "supernatural" against player X, or the average of his error
rates per move weighted over the moon phase :-)

The possibilities are endless, so we should only make a few of such
reports available with gnubg. We don't want to reimplement a query tool
in gnubg when there are other better tools available.
