This is one part in a serious of problem in the playlist interaction.
I hope to do something about it in the not too far future. It is 
impractical at this time because it is a large change, affecting 
everything, and right now many people are adding lots of stuff.

Also, I will be "out of my office" for the next 8 weeks :)
