Hi there, I am running gnubg on a FreeBSD 5.1 installation with an
nVidia 5600 FX/256MB with lots of frames per second. (I can be more
specific, but need to check, and I can't access the PC I'm talking about
right now)
I have configured this nVidia board to use DRI succesfully.
When I set the appearance to 3d however, gnubg reports that performance
will be slow due to no hardware acceleration, but it performs excellent.
I am not sure whether the board performs well even without hardware
accelleration, or whether the message is incorrect. But I think that's
another issue. :-)
Let me know if this qualifies me to be of assistance, I'd be happy to help.
:-)
