On unix-boxes it's only necessary to do "cvs login" once. cvs stores a
file .cvspass with your login.
I'm guessing that it'll work fine with just "cvs checkout" in your batch
program?!
If you ever delete the .cvspass file you'll have to run "cvs login"
again.
