I tried creating symlinks for aclocal-1.6 and automake-1.6 (make
complained about this after making the symlink for aclocal, but then,
after a bunch of stuff scrolled of my screen I got another message saying
I needed automake-1.6 . But I had just created a symlink for it.
Strange...
