One other thing to note. If you have root access on the Fedora system, AND
you have internet access, you should be able to install gnuplot and all its
dependencies using yum. The command to do this is:

yum install gnuplot

This would install gnuplot by downloading it from an online repository along
with all the dependencies, and automatically install them.
