Another issue of very little importance. The terminology "Plan view" (Settings-->Appearance-->General) is obscure (or at least, very technical). Apparently this view differs from setting "Board angle" = 0 and "FOV skew" = 100, but perhaps only experts in projective geometry or 3d-graphics could explain how. In any case, it would probably be better for users if "Plan view" became "Overhead view".I get a lot of people asking me about all those 3D settings. I’m probably not going to be popular in saying this but the board setup options are overwhelming for most users. Christian mentioned taking out features to simplify the product & options as well as the code. I personally believe that the board options could use some TLC.
